Presently, I facilitate a Breast Cancer Support at Hillandale Hospital, giving emotional and educational support to help women through the breast cancer journey, which is not an easy one. I have several women in the Hidden Hills Community that I have helped through this journey. I am a 8-year survivor, had surgery, kemo and radiation. I am now cancer free, and left with the urgency to help others.

Spring Neighbor Day was well coordinated by Wanda Dunn, Melody Kenner and with assistance from Lawns Plus, DeKalb County Sanitation, and daVido's Pizza. The DeKalb Sanitation truck was brought in to collect items from old tires to furniture and appliances. Anyone who had those items did not have to truck them all the way to Memorial Drive, they could bring them to Biffle Park.
